appletv 4K delay since update tvos15

same thing. Never happened before ios15. It’s the spatial audio. Turning it off fixes it.

I'm experiencing the same audio out of sync and video judder with my configuration and audio via airplay.

My configuration:

• Apple TV 4K 2017 *WIRED*
• Panasonic GZ950
• Airport Express 802.11n *WIRED* connected to Rotel RA-1062 ampli

All wired to the same Netgear gigabit switch

I've just reinitialized the ATV yesterday with no luck.

I've done some other test with my hardware:

• ipad (ipadOS 15.0) streaming audio to Airport Express via Airplay (Rotel output audio) -> A/V in sync
• ipad (ipadOS 15.0) streaming A/V to ATV4K (tvOS 15.0) via Airplay (TV output audio) -> A/V in sync
• iphone (iOS 15.0) streaming audio to Airport Express via Airplay (Rotel output audio) -> A/V in sync
• iphone (iOS 15.0) streaming A/V to ATV4K (tvOS 15.0) via Airplay (TV output audio) -> A/V in sync
• ATV4K (tvOS 15.0) streaming audio to Sony Headphones via Bluetooth (Headphones output audio) -> A/V in sync
• ATV4K (tvOS 15.0) streaming audio to Airport Express via Airplay (Rotel output audio) -> A/V out of sync, video judder and stutter

The same happens in all refresh rates (60,50,25,24hz), video modes (SDR,HDR,DV) and with frame matching on or off.

So the problem seems indeed a problem of the new video player with airplay...

So disappointed after a so boring release without new features, that even broke things that usually worked

Hope for a RAPID fix in TvOS 15.1...

The problem is still the same with 15.1. Audio is about one second ahead of the video. Apple TV 4K, air pods max and Sony oled tv.

this problem occurs in Apple TV app and Disney plus.

it does NOT occur, when streaming from my nas via infuse app or when watching YouTube videos or movies on Amazon prime. Then everything is in sync.

i Have found out that the problem is not happening with all content. On Amazon prime the movie lethal strike is completely in sync while the movie 13 hours is out of sync. Truly unnerving.

15.1 has not fixed the problem for me.

I have an Apple TV 4K and two HomePod Mini's in stereo set-up.

I have reset the Apple TV, reset the HomePod Mini's and used the Wireless Audio Sync tool across all channels and formats— but nothing works and the audio is still out of sync on Netflix and Apple+ etc.

Same here with Sony Bravia+Yamaha receiver + Apple TV. Before worked perfectly.
