iOS 15 issue - brightness

After updating my 11 Pro to iOS 15, my screen is half as bright as it was before. I noticed it immediately. I can no longer see the screen outdoors on a cloudy day. For example, on a very cloudy/rainy day, it was so dark that on 100% brightness when I went to use the Lyft app in dark mode I couldn’t see to call for a ride or when I went to take a selfie I couldn’t see the screen to line up my face. I restarted the phone and checked the settings and it hasn’t helped. Is there a fix? It’s important that I can see to use my phone outside obviously.

Check Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Auto Brightness. Change it and see if that helps.
