Unable to switch from 4G to 3G

Just upgraded from iPhone 11 Pro Max to iPhone 13 pro with o2 but there is no option to switch from 4G to 3G anymore

I am living in a patchy 4G area so find it beneficial to stay on 3G sometimes as 4G has poorer service

Is there anyway around this?

The carrier determines that. It seems that starting with the iPhone 12, many carriers removed the ability to manually change to 3G in their carrier settings. No, there's nothing you can do about it.

You will have to speak with your cellular provider for assistance with that.
