Apple Watch/iPhone 13 connection issue...

Since the release of iPhone 13 Pro (and subsequent iOS 15.0 update) and the installation of Watch OS 8.0 on my Apple Watch Series 5, I have not been able to use the "Unlock with Apple Watch" feature. I keep receiving the error message (screenshot below). Is there a fix? Please advise.
