I need to remove Big Sur from my 2017 MacBook Air, and reinstall Catalina.

Can I still get that OS? Big Sur has destroyed my wifi speeds, and I essentially have dial up with a 1 gig connection. Catalina never caused this problem. All of the tips for improving wifi speed with Big Sur have failed, and my only option is to reinstall Catalina, but I don't want to erase everything on my hard drive. Do I have any options?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

So, correlation doesn't equal causation in this case. Since the slow wifi appeared to coincide with updating to Big Sur, I assumed that was the reason. I reset my router this morning, and now I have gig speed wifi again. No more issues
