How do I delete photos from photo software - I needed to transfer the photos to documents so Adbove Bridge could access all of my photos

I have exported all of photos from Mac photo to documents so that adobe software could access my photos - how do I remove my photos from Photo as the duplication is using a lot of space on my computer? Kim

Very easily by deleting the photo library from your pictures folder. Normally it is called Photos Library.photoslibrary, but you can check what it is by opening preferences from within Photos.


Just drag it to the Bin, then empty the bin.


You might want to take a copy of it to an external drive first - just in case there are any pictures you've not exported. Not needed if you are 100% sure you have everything you need in documents. (As long as you have a suitable regular backup of your system)
