pasting tabed text into numbers

Hi I am running numbers 6.2 on Mojave.

Previously if I had a formatted text and pasted into numbers it would put the tabbed sections Into a different column or it would ask me to update the formatting.

It now just pastes into the first column and doesn't ask to reformat.

I have tried pasting into text edit and making plain text but alas no difference.

Also into pages etc but no luck.

I tried changing text to rich Text in text edit and pasted in a new document widow that worked the little helper opened for a millie second but was too quick for me.

Any Suggestions would be much appreciated.

You can bring back the little helper at any time by selecting the table and Format Panel > Table > scroll to the bottom to see Adjust Import Settings:
