Trade In Mysteriously Canceled
I recently tried to trade in a M1 MacBook Air and went through the Fedex mail in system for the trade. I needed to call apple support 24 hours after drop-drop because I couldn't track my device after I gave it to the Fedex location. Apple support was having weird account issues and needed to connect my account back to the trade-in ticket for some reason. My trade in was then flagged because they "could not unlock the device" and forced me to follow a link to cancel the trade in after changing the value to zero. I reached out to apple support again, after 2 days with no information and they told me that I canceled the trade-in 24 hours before I dropped it off at fedex. It didn't seem right and apple support couldn't give me information and alluded to just... waiting. It's been a week. It feels like I just had my laptop stolen.
