Can not connect to App Store since iOs15 upgrade

Hi , I was mid side by side transfer of a Pro11 to a Pro12 and the Pro 12 upgraded to ios15 . After which it couldn't connect to the app store to complete the upgrade. I upgraded the original phone and started again .. but that phone can now not connect to app store. my iPad , still at 14.7 CAN connect to App store .. so it looks like ios15 has broken my connection to App Store .. how do i fix this (I have tried hard reset, changing from wifi to 4g etc as recommended on a few sites) - any help appreciated , thanks

Being able to access the App Store on your iPhone is essential.


You've done a great job isolating the issue thus far. Just to confirm, are both the date and time configured correctly on the device?


Are you able to test the issue over a different Wi-Fi network? Take a look at the steps listed below.


If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services


Should the issue continue you can reach out to Apple Support directly.

Hi , yes i tried all the steps , and contacted apple support , who suggested refreshing OS from iTunes, which i did .. that made no difference . I have also now noticed that i get the same message trying to connect to Apple Music (no surprise i guess , but just another symptom). I did a 'manual' install of my new phone and the app store worked .. so its definitely something on my current phone (and its backup :-( ) that is causing this . Any ideas ?
