cannot find old order information

i am looking for information about a product i bought two years ago that i lost.

I donot have an order number, but i bought it thru the apple shop. There might even have been apple care on it at that time.

I do find a link to the last 6 months orders, but to go further back the site wants me to enter an order number. Is not there an oversight of everything i bought in the past? ( and i donot mean apps, music, books etc but i mean hardware, bought thru the apple stores).

I am looking for an hour already but i am going in circles.... any ideas??

thanks

thank you, i did call and indeed there is a 18 months limit on the regeneration of info. That surprised me given that far less important info about apps, music etc is safekept for more then 10 years ! oh well.. thanks for the reply Limnos.

For a physical Apple Store purchase you can try contacting the store where you purchased the item and see if they still have a record of the purchase.

For items from the on-line store go to apple.com, scroll to the bottom, and click on Apple Store Account. --> https://www.apple.com/us/shop/goto/account (only the past 18 months)

Apple recommends you "Keep your receipt after you buy an Apple device" --> https://support.apple.com/HT202711

If you had AppleCare, it should still be on record if you're under the 2 year AppleCare coverage. That isn't a receipt though.
