Motion from camera on FaceTime

When using Picture in Picture during FaceTime my picture kept floating all around like someone was physically moving the camera but I was sitting still. It has made me really woozy! How do I stop this from occurring? The person I was speaking to could see it floating all over too. Very annoying!

I turned on portrait and turned off the function where the camera moves with me. This helped some. I use Zoom often for work and it is important that I have as near to direct eye contact as possible in my virtual meetings with individuals (while still being able to see their faces in the center of my screen). My iphone and laptop do not have this problem, nor do I recall it being an issue on my old ipad mini.

FaceTime off center camera issue I experienced an issue where I am not centered in the screen when using FaceTime. What I shortly realized is that it appears to be a software glitch not a hardware issue. When the screen is the default size, which is 1/3 screen size at best, I am off center. When I make the application the full size of the screen, the output from the camera centers as expected. I am not sure if this is the same thing you were experiencing. Just figured I would share. Hope it helps.

After iOS 17 update on the iPad the camera for FaceTime is stuck on the rear camera After IOS 17 Update on the iPad the camera for FaceTime is stuck on the rear camera. I found no way to flip it. On „my“ little picture are 3 icons only, the flip one is missing. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
