Tried to delete the TestFlight app because it has been causing problems

Have been trying for hours to simply delete Apple’s TestFlight app from my iPad Pro because it seems to be interfering with an app which I had been beta testing, then I bought the app when it went on sale in the App Store.

Now both the app I downloaded and the TestFlight app appear to be causing havoc with my iPad Pro.

I’ve tried every method I know to delete the TestFlight app, but it keeps “partially” downloading from the App Store, then I re-delete it and it just shows up again on my iOS desktop.

This is utter madness.

"As I've said, the TestFlight app (which Apple made) doesn't completely download and their own App Store insists that it IS downloaded. You can clearly see the app has not downloaded, above. No matter how many times and how many ways I delete it, the TestFlight app cannot be permanently deleted at this time."

Set this Up Anew:

I guess resetting your device to factory settings would most certainly do the job. Important: Be certain to log out of iCloud on the iPhone prior to doing so. Find out how to here: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to Factory Settings - Apple Support

Whom to Contact:

Contact the Developer of the app. You will find their contact information in the App's site of the App Store. Ask them for feedback on if this is a known bug, and how you can go about solving this.

"I think I'm going to wait for a response from Apple before going that route. That's drastic. And I think since they operate the App Store and they have my account, they should be able to delete the offending app (TestFlight) from my account more easily than I can."

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
