Can anyone answer this? Why the clock app (and other default apps) is running in the background all night and even today. I don’t even open them. How can my clock app running in the background for more than 4h?

Thanks for your reply. But closing them like that doesn’t make the app stop running. When pressing the home button once. I will go to the Home Screen and the app will just stop running, except for those are allowed in Background App Refresh (BAR) in Settings. But the Clock app and other default apps are not exist in the BAR. So I can’t make it run in the background. Besides, I don’t even open Maps, Files, Voice memos and Translate. But they still run in the background for some minutes (you can see that in my screenshot)
Check which apps are running with Doubleclick on Home button, quit by dragging their windows up (or sideways, depending; some apps may resist being quit for a few seconds.
