How can I get a refund?

Pls I urgently need help.My phone was infected with a virus so I downloaded some anti virus apps to use for free. I came across one with the name MOBILE SECURITY which requested for a free trial but I should key in my master card details which I did but still couldn’t use it after keying my details

I never had the intention of purchasing the app so since I couldn’t use it I decided to let go only to realize this morning that they took $49.99 from my account.Looking at our economy that is a huge chunk of money.

I immediately requested for a refund through the Apple platform but has since not receive any reply from them.PLS WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY MONEY REFUNDED.I do not need the Mobile Security app.All I want is my money back. The money they took has greatly affected my budget for the coming month.

Did you go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com/?s=6 to request a refund? If agreed to you should see this in your purchases list there. Refunds can take up to 30 days to appear.

As to the original situation, what made you think you had a virus (which is extremely unlikely)? If it was a message of some sort saying it had detected a virus, these are always scams and should be ignored. No-one can detect remotely that you have a virus, and they are trying to scam you into buying unneccesary software. You don't need any anti-virus apps.
