After upgrading iPhone 12 to iOS 15 and "Focus" mode, Driving mode won't turn on automatically anymore

After upgrading my 12 to iOS 15, the Driving mode focus worked for a couple of days, and then it stopped.

I have the focus settings configured to Turn On Automatically -> While Driving.

I also have Fitness Tracking enabled in Motion and Fitness, which I know is required for Driving Mode to work.

It just stopped one day with no changes to any settings. Forcing a restart (Up volume, down volume, hold power until Apple logo) does not help.

Is there another setting I may be missing? Anyone else experiencing this?

I seem to have gotten this working again (called Apple Support but they just wanted me to wipe and reset the phone).

I decided to see if Driving Mode would turn off automatically if I turned it on manually. So I turned it on while driving when I was close to my destination.

After I arrived, I waited until a minute or so after getting out of the car, and it did turn off automatically. The next time I started driving, it came on like it is supposed to.

I still have no idea why it quite working as I never turned it off manually while driving (other than answer the prompt "I'm not driving" a couple of times). But this seems to have corrected it.
