ios 15 calendar search

I updated to ios 15 on phone and ipad and some historical calendar entries cannot be located via search. Is this a bug or is the calendar search reindexing?

Ne aware that the Calendar Search is limited to twelve months. If the event that you are attempting to find is beyond twelve months past, it will not be found. This behaviour is unchanged from iOS/iPadOS14.
