ios 15 makes it totally impossible to turn off live photos on ipad

It is literally impossible to turn off Live Photos in edit on iPad thanks to iOS 15 and it’s intrusive split-screen “feature”. You absolutely cannot push this live button in any way, no matter what. Pathetic…
