ios 15 makes it totally impossible to turn off live photos on ipad

It is literally impossible to turn off Live Photos in edit on iPad thanks to iOS 15 and it’s intrusive split-screen “feature”. You absolutely cannot push this live button in any way, no matter what. Pathetic…

iphone 13 can’t turn off live photo On my iPhone 13. No matter what I do my camera keeps taking live pictures. Preserve settings does not work, it did for a short time but then live turned back on by default every time, ignoring the preserve settings. thats been the case for a while, since then, nothing changed, no setting, no update or anything, but for no apparent reason it seems to have gotten worse because even if I turn off Live Photo in the camera, it still takes a Live Photo. Its just ignoring the setting altogether and always taking a live pic. I really want this to stop. It’s annoying to be ignoring settings.

disable Live Photo permanently I followed the settings then camera and take off Live Photo from preserve settings. And yet still the Live Photos comes back on while taking pictures on my iPhone pro 11. I find this feature very annoying and it’s not needed. Not every single photos taken, it has to be live. I cannot understand why apple adding on unnecessary feature. can anyone advise why isn’t the Live Photos option kept on coming back even though I turn it off under the preserve settings? Please any advice so I can take this annoying feature off. ‘thanks. ~ Christina
