If the Airpods still work okay and you feel they are comfortable, there is nothing to worry about.
If you are able to secure a good fit, you are able to return the Airpods if you purchased from Apple either in-store or online, within 14 days.
Please remember that your left and right ear may require different ear tips, for example the medium size might be best for your left ear, but you might require the large tip for your right.
