Do i have to clean up my iPhone when trading it in?

Hey guys i was wondering if i had to literally clean up phone with rubbing alcohol and stuff before trading it in. Would a dirty phone affect my trade in value. Or can i send in a dirty iphone and they'll clean it up. Or should i clean it up(not talking about the data talking about literal dirt on the phones body) before send it in.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 15

Please see the following guide which will help you prepare for trading in your phone with Apple. It doesn't mention anything about physically cleaning the phone, but obviously making sure the phone is presentable and clean is a nice courtesy, which I would do in your situation
