2017 Audi Q7 CarPlay anomalies with IOS 15

CarPlay integration with the Audi MMI in my 2017 Q7 used to work as advertised, but with IOS 15, the ability to use the touch pad to draw the letters of the term I want to search for, has disappeared. Also, some of the buttons still work, but the identifying text in the buttons has disappeared, or has become the same color as the button.

Any fixes?

Hello Awhmobile,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that CarPlay used to work fine with your Audi Q7 until you updated to iOS 15. Now some feature are not working. We would recommend taking a look at the following support article to troubleshoot the CarPlay issues. In this case, step 7, making sure that the firmware is up to date in the car is probably most important.

Awhmobile,

The provided article had more troubleshooting steps in it than to deal with the car manufacturer. If you have tried all the steps in that article, to included checking for updates from your car's manufacturer, then the final suggested step per that article would be to contact Apple Support directly for more specific assistance.
