Why doesn’t my iPhone 8plus not give me the option of visual voicemail or notify me when I get a new voicemail?

Voicemail is a carrier feature. Contact your carrie for help with it.

Although restarting your phone might fix it→RESTART your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
