it says no disk space
i have so much icloud space does this not work to fix disk space

Correct. iCloud storage and disk space (also known as on-device storage) are not the same. Disk space is used for apps, files, photos, and videos. iCloud storage can store files, photos, and videos that can be accessed from the device, but are not on the device.
To see what is filling your disk space, head to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. From there you can see what is taking up the most space and free up space.
