Live Photo with loop/bounce hit : "This item cannot be shared" for WhatsApp after iOS 15 upgrade

Not helpful. Apples users upgraded to ios15 and should not have a decrease in service quality.

Not helpful at all. We use iPhones with these Apps. It should be your responsibility to make sure they’re compatible

This issue of sharing Live Photos in loop and bounce modes needs to be corrected by Apple. Instead of improving our experience Apple with its IOS upgrade has made it worse.

it happened to me as well but there’s a workaround to still send live photos. In WA go to the picture you want to send, press on it to activate the 3D Touch (make sure you have it enabled in your iOS settings) and then you’ll see the option to either send it as a (static) photo or as a gif.

I’m having this issue also and it’s really annoying. What carina suggests works to send a Live Photo but the loop/bounce gives a better result than the original live pic and it seems you are unable to send these. Additionally I don’t like that the update has ditched the loop/bounce preview on swipe up of the photo. This is a feature a use a lot which has now become very long winded.

Hate this upgrade - what nonsense. Want to downgrade back to 14.8 - is it possible?

I actually get exactly the same error trying to share via Mail as well, so seems like this is not WhatsApp specific, and more a general iOS issue

This is incorrect. The iOS is now not sharing bounce / loop images - including other Apple products (eg Mail). Fix it please.
