My 2013 15" Retina Macbook Pro has suddenly started to block my use with a new "keychain password request." Since 2013 I've never seen this and have no idea what the password is. How do I disable this?

Can you verify the padlock is unlocked and remains unlocked in your Keychain Access.app login

if you are ever in doubt do a Spotlight search... Command Spacebar It will take you straight to it.
