Apple Watch locking while wearing

It looks like this problem is not uncommon and none of the solutions recommended for others has helped. I think there was something in the latest security updates that seems to be causing this issue and it is very frustrating.

Apple watch 4 locking Hey, I have an apple watch 4 which I’ve had for over 3 years, and never had any problems with it. However, it recently starting locking whilst I have it on, several times during the day. I’ve tried switching it on and off several times, but it’s still happening. My apple watch series 8 keep locking while I am wearing it - wrist detection is ON. Ever since I got the apple watch series 8 in December 2022, It will lock while on my wrist. There will be a few days where it does not do this, but then there are days like today where it just locks over and over even tho I am wearing it and unlock it frequently. I have already tried unpairing/re-pairing, turning it off and on, resetting to factory etc and it STILL does this. I'm not sure what the next step is?
