Your card issuer could not authenticate the use of the card •••****

I am getting this message while making a purchase in apple uk site (https://www.apple.com/uk/) through my debit card, even though the card details are correct.

"Your card issuer could not authenticate the use of the card •••****. Please contact your issuing bank or try another payment method."

I have checked with my Bank, they confirmed there is nothing wrong from their side and they haven't got any notification of payment declined in my account.
