I am wondering because the ipad pro specs of camera is almost the as the iphone 12 pro why is it the quality is way different. I already tried to check the camera of ipad air for to compare my 2021 ipad, ipad air is way better. This is frustrating

Is the grainy showing up when you are previewing for a photo or after you take the photo?

yeah man I had this expectation as well. Unfortunately, Apple cut corners on the cameras on the iPad Pro this year, and there is going to be no fix, because its just not that good of a camera. I only bought the "Pro" version of the iPad because I fell for the marketing and believed the camera quality would be exceptional - and it is - exceptionally bad.
You and I both just wasted our money on a "pro" product that is far from professional. Apples marketing won this bout.
But I'll never purchase another apple product again. I sold my iphone last week. iPad is listed on marketplace as well. I figure it'll be gone soon too.
my concern here is that i tried to compare from an Ipad air4 shots and found out that it was better. I have a Pro model so i expected to have a better and quality shots. Photos are a bit grainy both previewing and after taking a photo
here is a sample shot with great lighting. You can see that the quality is not that crisp as it should be. Hoping developers can solve this is. I know ipad is not ideal for taking pictures but i am expecting for a better quality because the specs of the camera is almost the same as iphone 12
