Seems I’ve come across the same issue. See how I’ve troubleshot it: Apple Music Streaming Issues with CarPlay - Apple Community. Report to Apple: I still have yet to figure this out. I’ve reported it to Apple. Consider doing the same.

Resetting the EQ:

I've read that resetting the EQ fixes this. Tried it a few times, yet it doesn't seem to work for me. I'm hoping for a fix myself. Here is how I’ve troubleshot it: Apple Music Streaming Issues with CarPlay - Apple Community.

I have 3 iPhone13 Pros not working with CarPlay in 3 Different Cars. Either they won't connect at all or once they are connected only Maps works. Everything else is not working or can't connect.

I can play Amazon Music only if I start the App on the phone before connecting it to the Car. But then I can only see what is playing and can skip songs, nothing else.

I have reset everything on the Phones and it doesn't fix the issue. This is broken in iOS15.

I have the same issue. I use both Tidal and Amazon Music HD and neither of them will connect. I contacted Tital Support and they are very aware of the issue and said we have to wait for Apple to fix the issue with an update to ios 15. Let's hope for a fix soon.

I have the same problem with an iPhone 11 pro running iOS 15. Can't use TIDAL with CarPlay. This appeared after updating to iOS 15. It is broken. You start to wonder if Apple has lost it. First Safari 15 is completely corrupt, now CarPlay....what is going on???

Hi my IPhone 13 pro isn’t working properly on the music apps such as Amazon, Spotify and Apple Music, this in my 2017 Audi TT, the sound only comes out of the front right speaker, the radio and CD are working fine, tried my colleagues iPhone in IOS 14 and it works fine as does an android phone so has to be an issue with IOS 15.02 so hopefully an update will be released very soon.

Turn off the EQ settings.

Settings > Music > EQ

If that doesn't help, then reset your Network settings

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings

This fixed it for our Audi's and Volkswagens

Good news, you can now update your iPhone with ios 15.0.2 and it works to fix the problem will Tidal and other music apps as well. I just tested it this morning and everything works as before.

Sweet! Have not have time to test that yet. Maybe tomorrow. Looking forward to that!
