iOS15 and Home/Homekit

Homekit is very poorly configured for iOS15 and is highly frustrating. I have noticed that the Home App has been consuming big chunks of my battery ever since the iOS15 update. Daily, devices aren't responding, and instead of making life easier, it's making everything way more complicated. Has anybody else been experiencing the same?

HomeKit not working after ios15 update When I updated to iOS 15 I have lost all functionality to the HomeKit. I can no longer add devices no matter the manufacturer and the devices I have left toggle from standby to no response often. I have gone through all the resets (phone router setting up HomeKit again) and no dice. This is frustrating is there an update from Apple I have ruled out my router and manufacturers this is an Apple issue

HomeKit HomeKit at one Home has failed. No response from MeRoss devices. No response from ECOBEE. No response from Lutron switch. All were working until this morning. I cans all devices through the Netgear log-in. MeRoss App and ECOBEE app work to control their devices. Other Home still working. Tries restarting router several tines. Restarted iPhone 11P and updated to 16.0.2 this morning. Restarted Apple TV4K a couple of times. If the only answer is to completely rebuild the Home with all three manufacturers devices removed and then laboriously re=created, then HomeKit is totally lame. But this stuff worked most of the time for the last year. Why can't Apple provide some kind of solution ?? P.S. There is no category for HomeKit. Sorry

Home app using 20GB of storage My Home app on my phone is using 20GB of storage, which is an abnormal amount. It is only displayed correctly like this in very rare occasions; most of the times it would show as System Data. I’m suspecting that it is an issue with the HomeKit camera UI, generating large amounts of cache files. Sometimes this 20GB of data disappears from storage after a while of not using the camera UI, probably it is the cache being completely removed. Is there a method to prevent this problem from reoccurring again? Reinstalling the app doesn’t fix this issue. P.S. Am I the only person experiencing numerous bugs and glitches with the HomeKit camera UI? I am not seeing anybody discussing this.
