The memory and Storage are integral to the main logic board for this laptop. If you need the extra storage for data that is going to be archived anyway, then it might be good to consider an external storage or cloud storage such as Apple’s iCloud storage subscription. For large Apps or data that cannot be archived, the higher storage might be your best bet.
