Lost all my art files and now even the backup is gone

I am heartbroken and very disappointed

My iPad had a terrible crash about two weeks ago. I've wiped it and attempted to restore it. After days my Procreate was still stuck half way through. I took it to service and ended up recieving new device.

I've attempted to restore it yet again from the iCloud backup and for a while it looked like it was working and then it just stopped and the Procreate opened with an empty library.

Today I wanted to try another thing just to find that my only good backup got overwritten by a new backup of basically empty device.

It seems like it's time to give up hope, but if anyone has any advice about restoring an older backup than the ones offered automatically please let me know.

I've lost 2 years worth of artwork because I thought that iCloud (that I pay for) was an adequate protection. It was not. I am so disheartened
