How do I get a picture when connecting a projector to Macbook Pro using HDMI to HDMI. I have sound and can hear the video, but the only image I get through the projector is the home screen from my Mac...

The “trick” is to follow the steps Bob outlined while the projector is connected and “on.”

The settings you need to adjust “go away” when the the projector is not connected.
