Apple watch activation problem

Hi i just bought an apple watch *SE 44mm* from as store in canada called *STAPLES* my oncle actually who bought it because i live in egypt and when he came back and gave it to me , i started the process of activation and a problem appeared that says briefly that another apple ID was on this apple watch and the activation could not ve completed unless i have the actuall ID that was with the first user?? What shall i do now? I have the receipt and the box with everything , please help i was so excited to use it. Thank you so much.

So where is the watch now?

Is it paired to anything?

Is it Gps only or cellular?

Whoever the original owner was needs to follow ALL the steps in the link I posted above,if they can't or won't then the watch is of no use to you.

About Activation Lock on your Apple Watch

Your uncle will have to follow all the steps on this page;

What to do before you sell, give away or trade in your Apple Watch, or buy one from someone else

If he will give you his apple id then you can do this yourself;

To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your uncle's Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.
