Microphone not working on facetime

every time I talk on FaceTime the other person can’t hear me when they have any sound in their background. This is a big issue and it is a device issue. I have the iPhone 13 pro Mac and I got it a week ago…

To start, make sure you have the most current operating system on your device. (Settings > General > Software Update)  There are new features for FaceTime and we have included a resource that will resolve this issue for you.
