Focus (old DND) Driving Feature

In IOS 14 the driving feature stayed on all the time - I didn't have to worry about turning it on or off, as soon as I got in my car it was on. Why is it, in IOS 15 this feature is not staying on all the time? Why should I have to remember to turn it on? Can this be fixed to remain on as it was in IOS 14?

How to replicate driving mode from iOS 14 as focus mode in iOS 15 Hello, I was using the "driving mode" (idk the exact name) in iOS 14 and I would like to have it in iOS 15 as well using the new focus modes. The key functionality I am looking for is: you turn it on from control center when the phone is locked/and you lock the phone afterwards no notifications/calls or anything can disturb you until you turn it off when you try to unlock the phone you are reminded to turn the focus mode off I think it should be possible to do it with shortcuts somehow, but I can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know how to do it? Thank you

DND while driving is only available in Focus? In the previous IOS, I loved having the option to turn “DND while driving” on and off by swiping down in the control center. While I can turn it on and off in the focus feature, when I turn it off and back on again it doesn’t automatically turn back off when I’ve stopped driving. For example I pulled over briefly and turned off the “DND while driving” to check the traffic for the route I was about to take. I then turned it back on and when I arrived at my destination despite disconnecting from the car’s Bluetooth the “DND while driving” stayed on. I didn’t even realize it until I had been at work already for two or three hours. During that time all my texts were getting my driving message and wondered where I had been driving to for the past 2+hours. Is there any way to fix this?

You can set it to activate automatically. The default is set to Manually and therefore it is looking for you to activate.

Open Settings ➔ Focus ➔ Driving ➔ While Driving: Set this to Activate Automatically.

I don't know what "there" means. I also don't know what "reset" means.

Anyway, try force restarting the iPhone.

I have done that and it's still not working. It doesn't stay there and I have to reset.
