DSLR NIKON D 3000 as a WebCam
I just downloaded the new Nikon WebCam Utility software and it's showing up in my zoom,
but just as a black screen with my camera on and plugged in and on auto on the camera.
Any idea how to make the camera read as a webcam?

The NIKON D 3000 camera does not record video and has no video mode. You will need to use a different newer camera that can shoot video. D 3100 and up I believe.
