The main purpose of a MacBook Pro is not to provide you with a 4MP camera that also can do computing.

If that other computer better meets your needs, then buy it and use it and good luck to you!

If you prefer to use a Mac, and the modest built-in camera is inadequate, then add on a webcam that meets your needs for a modest additional cost. There are many different ones readily available with widely-varying capabilities.

Note that high-end desktop Macs including Mac Pro silver tower models may not include a webcam at all.

Provided it is working correctly, the built-in default camera included free with the MacBook Pro is acceptable for entry-level uses such as Video Conferencing.

If you have higher needs than entry-level, you should install a camera that better meets your needs.
