Macbook air ups issues

For some reason, my MBA was shipped on the 28th, 3 business days ago. Should it not have came on the 1st? On top of that, ups says " Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery.

Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong" and will not give me a delivery date. Can someone give me a semblance of an idea of what is happening at ups? Also, it would be nice to hear about others buying the same mode, a MBA 16/512. Thanks! I will attach shipping transcript below.

I believe it’s a combination of a global pandemic in addition to many more people all buying Apple products ( especially the new M1 powered MacBooks).

With so many people switching from Windows to the Mac (Apple Silicon is a game changer), then that’s the expectation.

I don’t blame UPS or FedEx because I used to work in the shipping/receiving end of it.

Happy Holidays! 
