Hearing accessibility

After updating to IPAD IOS 15 I can’t route the audio through my hearing aids. I have re-paired the devices to my IPAD and the IPAD does see the hearing aids and show they are connected but audio from the IPAD does not come through the IPAD. Has anyone else had this problem?
