Hello. I just bought an Ipad Pro, and have downloaded the OneDrive app. I synced all my files and made them available offline. Unfortunately I'm not being able to edit any such offline documents (Word Excel Powerpoint).
I was wondering if there has been any workaround made for this issue. Otherwise it will not be practical to use the Ipad as a laptop replacement.

Have you added your account to the Files app?
Use the Files app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Try using the Files app to download files and open them.

Hi. Yes I did. After reading the help section on Microsoft OneDrive, it unfortunately seems the case that any files made offline become read only, and the only way to edit is to work online.
