I have 47GB storage categorized as "other" How do I delete that?

“Other” encompasses anything that is not categorized into the available groups.

If this is too much you may want to see if there are too many Time Machine local snapshots. What is the output of this command in Terminal:

tmutil listlocalsnapshots /
