Connecting my iPad mini 5 to an overhead projector

I would like to use my iPad mini 5 and its contents as lecturing material for my students. For example, I would like to use Powerpoint presentations. To do this, I need to lash my iPad mini 5 to an overhead projector. Can I do this, and if so, what piece of equipment do I need to interface my iPad mini 5 with the overhead projector?
