I have a fire stick that I watch on my tv, I’m going away and I want to be able to plug it in to my iPad. I’ve brought the adapter to do so but nothing is visible on the screen. Does anyone know a way of doing this? I basically want to turn it in to just displaying what’s on the fire stick, thanks!

You can’t stream from a Fire TV stick to iPad.
You’ll have to stream using apps on the iPad itself, which shouldn’t be an issue. All the important streaming apps are available in the App Store.
It’s a jail broke fire stick that I use for sports and movies, so can only be accessed to watch via the stick. I was hoping there was an app that would turn the iPad in to a monitor, looks like it can’t be done then. Thanks anyway
Thanks, it’s not the fire stick itself I want to use it’s an app with programs on the app isn’t available to download to iPad.
so there’s no way to basically turn my iPad in to a monitor? Or I have a Mac book pro is there any way to do it with that?

Either use an app or stream from a website. That goes for both iPad and MacBook Pro. Neither one runs Fire OS, thus can’t run Fire OS apps.
If it is about local media files, then transfer those.
