A "jailbroken" iPhone would mean that its operating system has been compromised. It is something that is possible only if the "bad actor" has physical access to your phone OR you did so yourself purposely. Simply look up "jailbroken iPhone" with an Internet search to get a better idea of what I am referring to.


Your Apple ID is your "key" to access Apple's online services. You used it to log into those services from your iPhone ... or any other device that needs to access those same services. The most common way that this ID can be compromised is if you provide your Apple ID's credentials (username & password) to someone else ... even a trusted friend or relative. Only you should know the password.
