Quicktime constantly crashes when opening

I recorded a video from my iPhone, hit "split" from edit menu. Before hitting "done" in the split menu, I remembered, that I wanted to create multiple files, so I hit "duplicate" from File menu - this is a thing that Quicktime seem not to like and crashed.

However, now when I open Quicktime it tries to reload the crashed file and immediately crashes again. I cant open Quicktime anymore - what should I do?

I already tried to quickly hit CMD+Q to close the file. I am just not fast enough.

My Workaround:

cd ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX/Data/Library/Autosave Information
mv Unsaved\ QuickTime\ Player\ Document*.* ~/Documents/
