Why wouldn’t it have the 5g option?

Did you use a SIM from an older phone? If so, that SIM may not be provisioned with the 5G service.

I think I am going through the same thing with AT&T RIGHT NOW on chat. I suspect the network needs to ID our phones properly, and they are not matching the IMEI addresses properly on their end... Your phone will only let you select networks available to it!
I also have an iPhone 13 Pro with no option for 5G. I am only receiving LTE or 4G connection.
I did, they said something about the imei not being correct. It’s been updated now, But I don’t understand how that would change setting to phone. For example, if I go into phone setting and cellular option it only shows 4g or lte option.

Yes they do, I’m with att. I’m currently on their elite plan which has 5g access. We also have a iPhone 13 pro max on our plan and it has the 5g access
