I’ve restored my iPhone 12 to another iPhone 12. But new phone keeps saying restore in progress. Says that it needs another 600 MB to finish restoring apps and data. But I have about 40 GB available so don’t understand why it won’t update?

Just to confirm, do both devices have the same storage amount? You can check in Settings > General > About. Depending on the type of backup you’re trying to restore, there may be more data than you have available on your new device. Were you able to check to see if the backup size from your previous iPhone exceeds the space on your new iPhone? If not, you'll want to follow the steps in the article we previously provided to do so.

No old phone he 128gb and new phone have 64 gb. However I still have got 40.32 gb available on new phone. So that is nowhere near the extra 600 mb needed to finish restore
