How do I determine if I have a firmware password
My MacBook Pro needs repairs. I have asked to turn off firmware password. I don't think I have one...how do I determine if I have a firmware password?

It would be simple from the Terminal.app, copy&paste:
sudo firmwarepasswd -check
note: your psswd will not echo on screen, type it in anyway to proceed.
