iTunes help!

I've been using Apple/Mac since 2006, and had ALL my music in iTunes,, and downloaded ALL my cds into iTunes. Now I can't find any of it. I know it is still on my current iPhone b/c it will show up like one of the songs is playing. But I can't figure out how to get all the music on my current MacBook Air laptop. I've tried so many ways to contact Apple support but zero help. I also saw where others had asked the same question, but there was not an option to see any answers? PLEASE HELP!

iPhone 7, iOS 14

Thank you for replying, and for trying some of the suggestions.

Wondering if the files are stored in a different location on you Mac, than where the Music app looks for them ?

Eg:

Change where your music files are stored on Mac:

By default, your music is stored here:

Home/Music/

You can change where your music files are stored.

Important: For best results, don’t change the location of the Music folder or the folders inside it.

You may want to try searching for music files in a Finder window :)

Well I wish I could say any of it worked, but nothing did! I spent MORE hours trying to navigate and fix this issue with ZERO luck. I have to say I wish I'd NEVER decided on going with Apple products at this point! So incredibly frustrating! I also tried to get an appointment with the closest Apple store for help and it kept saying things like "error in responding" or something along that line. I'm extremely frustrated, and have spent SOOOO many hours of my very limited time on this issue. I wish I could just TALK or communicate with an Apple representative! I also tried THAT route, but it also came back with an "error code".. Convenient.. :(
