Apple Music Glitch

Hello!

so, the glitch I’m experiencing happens at very random moments. As I’m listening to music, the song gets abruptly stopped with a loud static noise, almost like a vinyl scratch. Then it just skips to the next song. Another problem I am having constantly is that there’s a good 50/50 chance a song will play only for fifteen seconds and stop. I have noticed this with two specific albums (so far) that I purchased on iTunes, it’s weird. My iPhone is synched with my laptop and the issue never happens with music I uploaded to iTunes from CDs.

iPhone XR, iOS 14

Hi IanKeys,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand Apple Music is sometimes stopping a song after 15 seconds and sometimes you hear a loud static noise, and we'd like like to assist. Are you running the latest version of iOS? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Does the issue persist after deleting it and re-downloading the affected songs?

Do you always hear the static sound no matter the method of listening (headphones, Bluetooth Speakers, iPhone speakers)?

We look forward to learning more about the issue.

Take care.
